The Currency That Matters.
In the midst of what life has to offer you, you are busy handling circumstances and the constant approach to keep up with financial, professional and personal demands makes you blind to the real wealth which is more important and powerful than any currency can offer. It's like a bitcoin that has it's own process to create it but once created. It can go a long way. Like any other financial situations which are challenged by many factors that help it to gain an appreciation or drown a person into debt, this currency that I am about to tell you is similarly affected by various factors but keep building towards it and you might be able to push yourself beyond the power of money and fame.

The currency we are going to talk about is called "FAITH" it's not the one that you have on yourself (that can be discussed later.) But the one where people have faith in you and your actions. That authority itself makes you super powerful. Now you use it for good or bad is up to you and your personal decision, but if you can influence a good number of people at a point where they look up to you. Then that's powerful. Pick any great leaders, country or company that the world has seen so far. It's not their financial balance sheet that tells you how powerful they are. It's the strength of the people that look up to them for solutions or advice. Even at times, a product makes them so compelling reason to understand why it matters.
Let's talk about it in detail.
Take a brand, the faith that people have in a brand makes it worth trillion. Example Apple.
Even today, due to social media, a new rehash of an old breed of marketing technique has been revived in a new way calling it affiliate marketing or the influencers market. It is also a miss guided concept where people think followers strength is the real winner, but it's the real influence the person or brand makes on people is what matters. So the strength of a follower is a secondary factor to consider in today's market.
You may be able to earn currency very quickly but building faith takes time. It's a process that needs the most expensive investment of all, time and efforts. Having faith on yourself is where to begin, but if people, and especially strangers who are by any means not connected to you in any manner starts to build this factor for you, look up to you. Then you might be building a very powerful reserve that no currency can build for you. The best part is for any person or brand is when this faith turns into loyalty.
Don't confuse yourself with faith and loyalty as the same factor. They are different. Though they work parallel to each other, they intersect only at a very specific point and that point is where game-changing or life-changing moments happen. Again they need your time and efforts to build and prove but after that, it's the most valuable currency that you can manage.
When I was working on this blog, I question myself, when do we reach a stage where you manage expectations and the time when you say that you don't care about what people think about you. It is difficult to talk about these situations because there is a very tiny line between them that makes it distinguished from each other.
The answer to that is when you start building initially. You should have faith in yourself. After some time, people invest in you and like any financial manager or personal accountant, you manage them. There might be times you make a wrong financial decision that brings loss or a decision that makes a profit. In the same manner, Peoples loyalty and faith work in the same way. Make wrong decisions and you might be punished by losing the person forever or at least for quite some time until it's not been sorted.
We, as individuals have lost the touch of these conversations. Too busy building an empire, but in the process, we ignore this currency and worst of all, in business, we name it as customer satisfaction. You know the people who work under customer satisfaction area? They look depressed most of the times. Dealing with customer complaints, most of the employees do not enjoy being there and their perspective of understanding customer satisfaction makes an impact on other people's thinking process.
As always we discuss the problem and now we discuss the solutions.
To that I propose, why not work on the core area of understanding that we are not working on making our customers satisfied ( who wants satisfactory results, aim for excellence.) But let's reframe our statement and say we are here to build their faith in US. BAM! That itself builds a sense of positivity. Also, the approach becomes more optimistic because you are no longer working on the level of satisfaction but you are working on building trust and faith in you and your company. I know there are times we face difficult people but try to work with them and you will be successful. Or else let it go if needed.
Faith is a currency that works on so many different levels in so many different factors. But some of us are still yet to learn how to build this currency.
Build it because it's important and effective. Not just on a personal level but on a professional level as well.
Thank you for reading this blog. I appreciate the time you gave to learn something new or relearn something that you might have ignored.
