Social Nights with NIKON Z6

Let me put it this way, some years ago I was a huge Nikon devotee and then Nikon did enter the DSLR market with a bang but then it did stay stagnant for a few years in the mirror DSLR segment restricting itself to photography advancements and ignoring the rising demand for DSLR film making. Other brands started catching up and then as you offer the best to your client. I had to choose the brands that were the best from both the worlds, photography as well as Digital Filmmaking. Quite early in the game, Sony announced path-breaking technology the MIRRORLESS SEGMENT and then the groups were created the mirrorless guys and mirror DSLR shooters.

for a while this kept going on and eventually looking at the advantages even I joined the mirrorless gang and that change the output of our films and photography by tenfold. The business kept going and we were busy with our projects furthermore Nikon came back and said we are offering something that no one else at the moment is attempting. That itself created a sense of curiosity. So that bought me back to picking up Nikon gear and testing the NEW NIKON Z6.

Meanwhile, I had a friend name Sebastian Polekad, the founder of 567 Dance Academy working towards his social night that being held at PANKHA FAST and looking for a photographer who could capture the performances as they perform live on the dance floor. This was a perfect opportunity to test the new beast. The challenge was as follows, we have irregular light patterns happening all over the dance floor and I was restricted for no using flash as the action was too fast and would kill spontaneity.

This test was to understand the processing capability of the new camera and also how effective it is in managing low light fast-paced action. This would also put the new focusing system to test.

I am about to share the images that we shot from the new NIKON Z6.

I am not paid by the company to write about this camera but I feel like a professional I have to inform about the new gear that is capable of some strong heavy lifting.
